It can function as a remote control for your TV, home cinema system, media projector or air conditioning. It is programmable, meaning it can operate at specific times and days of the week. The Keemple 2.0 app allows us to manage our home from anywhere. By creating a scenario using the universal infrared controller, it is possible to set the times at which we want our air conditioning to run. This allows us to regulate the operating times of the unit and therefore better control the energy consumption of our household.

Infrared controller – how does it work?

The universal infrared controller cooperates with your phone thanks to the Keemple 2.0 app and the Keemple system gateway via wireless WiFi communication at 2.4 GHz. What is important is that the product uses an omni-directional infrared beam, which operates at a distance of up to 8 metres. As a result, this allows smart control of many everyday devices using the remote control.

The infrared controller can be added to the Keemple KP-GW-07 Gateway and can be used to its full potential using the Keemple 2.0 app.
